🛡️ Automotive ERP: Warranty and claims
Dealers file claims from the job card. Every claim is checked for VIN, coverage, labour time and duplicates in seconds. Parts come back, suppliers pay their share, failure trends show early and recalls are run by VIN.

It handles warranty from the dealer's claim to the supplier's credit: claim submission, automatic validation, parts return, payment to the dealer, recovery from the supplier, and analysis of what's failing and why.
Each claim is checked against the vehicle's sale date and mileage, the coverage for that model, standard labour times, earlier claims on the same VIN and part, and the parts return rules. Clean claims are approved at once; the rest go to a reviewer with the reason shown.
Each supplier agreement sets what share of part, labour and handling cost the supplier pays. When a claim on their part is approved, a debit is raised automatically, backed by the returned part and its analysis.
Claims are plotted by how long the vehicle had been in service when the part failed. A rising curve for one part is an early warning of a design or supplier problem, long before it shows in total cost.
Affected VINs are identified by build date, batch or supplier lot, owners and dealers are notified, and each repair is recorded so completion can be tracked and reported.
Since 1 April 2021, the government can order recalls for vehicles under seven years old with defects that risk road safety, based on owner complaints and investigation. Penalties for makers range from ₹10 lakh to ₹1 crore.
It flags patterns: duplicate claims, labour above standard, parts not returned, unusual claim rates for one dealer or technician, and claims too close to the coverage limit.
